CREATIVE + ART DIRECTION​​

As Senior Art Director at Firewood Marketing, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a talented cross-functional team, including strategists, copywriters, and senior-level directors, to develop and execute creative concepts for a diverse range of Google products. This included high-profile platforms such as Google Play, Google Pay, Google Cloud, and many more. My role was central to crafting visually compelling and strategically aligned designs that resonated with both internal stakeholders and target audiences.

A significant portion of my work involved leading the design of complex email campaigns that required intricate coordination across multiple product verticals. These campaigns often spanned several phases, involving numerous rollouts, and demanded precision in both design execution and timing to ensure that each phase delivered maximum impact.

Beyond email campaigns, my responsibilities extended across a variety of media formats, including print, web, animation, digital ads, and brand identity development. This multi-disciplinary approach allowed me to contribute to every stage of the creative process—from ideation to production—ensuring that the designs were not only visually engaging but also aligned with Google's broader marketing objectives and brand standards.

By working on such a diverse range of projects, I helped elevate the visual storytelling of some of Google’s most prominent products, delivering designs that enhanced user experience, reinforced brand consistency, and drove engagement across multiple channels.

​GOOGLE PLAY

Below are a few examples of email campaigns designed to increase awareness of the Play Store. To engage and captivate the audience, I incorporated vibrant and playful illustrations and animations, infusing the campaign with energy and personality. These elements were carefully chosen to create a visually appealing and interactive experience, helping to draw attention to the Play Store while fostering a sense of excitement and curiosity around its offerings.

​GOOGLE PLAY DISCOVER

A series of emails designed to inform users about the Discover feature built into Android’s OS. This functionality allows users to personalize their experience, tailoring Discover to match their unique interests. It’s all about enhancing the journey and offering a more customized, engaging experience.

Each drip was to be sent at specific dates to create a buzz surrounding the Play Store.

​SMB POSTERS

These posters were designed to raise awareness of Google’s new style guide and were displayed in Google conference rooms and cafés. In collaboration with the copy team, I created a series of vibrant, playful illustrations. Given the stakeholder's passion for movies, we developed film-inspired concepts infused with branding humor. The client was so impressed with the designs that we had a full set printed and framed for his personal collection at home.
